Salary range for this position is as per the Academic Collective Agreement - $65,250 to $113,115.

Specific Accountabilities:
The Professor will be responsible for providing academic leadership and for developing an effective environment through the design and revision of programs and courses, defining and evaluating learning outcomes, developing appropriate teaching and learning environments that support student success, and developing/selecting appropriate learning materials. You will be expected to support student learning and progress, create assessments, rubrics, and evaluate student achievement.

Active participation in developing and modifying curriculum, participation in various committees, employing best practices from across the college system, and maintaining currency in your field through consultation with industry representatives are essential components of this position. In this role, you will work collaboratively with your teaching team to ensure quality program delivery and student experiences.

You will champion the development of customized training and educational programs in collaboration with public and private sector partners. Program promotion and student recruitment are essential areas of responsibility.

Qualifications:
Qualified applicants must possess a valid TSSA Gas Technician 2 (Gas Technician 1 preferred) license.
The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years field related experience as a Gas Technician 1 or 2.Consideration will be given to candidates that possess a combination of experience and education considered equivalent and acceptable to TSSA. Teaching experience would be an asset.
